Each year in the United States, way too many babies are abandoned. Despite safe haven legislation that provides parents a safe way to relinquish their infant, low public awareness has limited the laws’ effects. The National Safe Haven Alliance works to promote these laws and increase public awareness on both local and national levels.

Fire Stations, Police Stations and Hospitals are trained to be a Safe Haven for your newborn when you just don't know what else to do.
